The 10th International Conference on Bio-inspired Computing: Theories and Applications (BIC-TA 2015) will be held on 25th—28th September, 2015, in Hefei, China. The conference invites researchers to contribute high-quality original research papers in any aspect of bio-inspired computing. The main topics for the conference include, but are not limited to, the following:

• DNA and Molecular Computing
• Membrane Computing
• Swarm Intelligence
• Evolutionary Computation
• Neural Network
• Artificial Immune Systems
• Complex Systems and Fuzzy Systems
• Bioinformatics and Cheminformatics
• Natural Language Processing
• DNA Nanotechnology
• Computational Neuroscience
• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

All accepted papers will be published in Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) by Springer. In addition, extended versions of selected papers will be invited for special issues in several international journals in the field, including:

1. International Journal of Bio-Inspired Computation (IF: 1.681)

2. Journal of Computational and Theoretical Nanoscience (IF: 0.872)

Note: Springer has a long-standing commitment to ensuring the high quality of the conference proceedings published in Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS). Each abstracting and indexing (A&I) service (e.g., EI-Compendex) makes its own editorial decision on what content it will index. Hence, although the proceedings of BIC-TA 2014 have been indexed by EI-Compendex and ISI Proceedings, we cannot guarantee entries for BIC-TA 2015 are included in any particular database.
